Do you ever just get sick of seeing all that white stuff on the ground? I don't mind the cold but the wind and snow are getting tiresome. Especially when the city is trying to figure out a way to move the snow because it is creating visibility problems at all the intersections. I am looking forward to all of this melting. As many of you know, Mike is bravely serving in Afghanistan now. He is on a 1+ tour there. The army was really nice and took him right before Christmas. Gotta love the military!
I am halfway done now with law school!!!! Yippee! I also had my best semester yet so the transfer to Drake was a good thing. I was looking into doing the LLM in health law but since Drake does not know if they will still have this program, I am looking into other options. I have looked into PhD in bioethics and maybe MHA (Masters in Health Administration). Mike and I are pretty sure we want to stay in the Midwest and hopefully Iowa, but who knows at this point. Mike would like to go to culinary school when he gets done with the military (yes, he has 18 years in!!!! only 2 more to retirement). I told him that this would be a great career move for me because we will be able to entertain cheaply!!! Also, since he would be working evenings, this would work with my career too!
