Well 2011 is finally here. Hard to believe that so much has happened and there is so much planning for this new year. Mike is finally home. Yippee!!! He is visiting me here in Iowa while I recuperate from ankle surgery. I tore 2 tendons in my ankle and they had to be repaired. I am healing nicely, especially since Mike is taking such good care of me.
Hard to believe that I will be graduating from law school this year. It seems like just yesterday that I started this journey. Plus, 2011 is going to bring Mike and I finally able to live in the same house after 3 years of living apart. Mike re-enlisted and took a job at Fort Riley in Kansas so after I take the bar in July, I will be moving there. He moves sometime this spring. But we are really looking forward to living in one place for a while...well, we will see how long the Army will let us do that.
I hope that 2011 brings all our family and friends their wishes and dreams as Mike and I are finally realizing ours this year. God bless and happy new year all!
