Halloween is almost here!

Wow! Where did the time go? I can't wait for Halloween which is this Friday!!!! It is my favorite holiday of the year and not only just because my hubby proposed on Halloween. Mike will be home soon and I can't wait for that. Too bad he comes home right during finals stress time. Oh well, at least I will have my sanity back for a while.

I have learned some new things here at law school and the people here...

• People from Iowa supposedly are Iowegians, not Iowans
• People in the South are always "fixin' to" do something...I wonder if they ever really do it
• Winter jackets come out for 50 degree weather...it is not that cold!
• I thought Minnesota drivers were the worst in the world...I was wrong...they don't have anything on the ones in Oklahoma
• You have to dress up to go to the bars here...guess I am not going to any bars anytime soon since I don't own Hoochie-Mama clothes anymore
• Rumors are like poison oak in law school...the spread and infect everyone
• And the final thing I have learned is that no one is safe from the law school blues...not even the person you thought had it all together...

I miss everyone but I am really starting to find my place here. Now if we only knew where Mike would be going...everything would be perfect.
